that every single day; indeed they did in the very same press conference. I don't give a rat's ass what CNN says about or what Fox says about it. The President's own words condemn him. He is vile in almost every sense of the word. It doesn't mean he can't be dealt with. But the guy reminds me of a combo of George Wallace and Richard Nixon and not in any good way.

And no, I don't think there were very many people there in Charlottesville during the rally that really cared much about the statue. I think that happened prior in council meetings and such. Now I think they're kind of crazy to really care much about a green Confederate statue rather than say zoning or taxation, but there's not telling what turns people's cranks. I do find that most people who care a lot about the Confederacy also tend to have ideas about race and states rights that I would consider extreme, even when they aren't standing with the Nazis.
